WORK IN PROGRESS

Machines of Disruption proposes an aesthetic and critical hack of the diffusion pipeline- one of the most dominant architectures in today’s generative AI models. Through a series of interventions, the project introduces entropic forces into the heart of the model, and breaks it. The focus is to disorient the logic of optimization and allow for a process that does not refine or perfect, but  disturbs the generative process. The work exposes what AI represses to maintain its corporate optimization.  Corrupting latent spaces, inverting noise schedules, and sabotaging the denoising process are interventions that reveal the repressed content of the model. Machines of Disruption is disobedient at the algorithmic level. Corporate models optimize for seamlessness and control; it intervenes with error, entropy, and sabotage. With Deleuzian notion, malfunction and drift are machines of new desires.

MACHINES OF DISRUPTION
Ausio/Visual Installation

A______MACHINE
Installation

A________MACHINE deals with the linguistic positions of “machines” since the seventeenth century, including the mechanization of labour - whether physical machines at the centre of industrial and social revolution, considered as human-made agents, or today's intelligent algorithms. The focus is studying the linguistic depictions of machines, exploring the changing meaning of the term over the centuries, and the scenarios where machines are regarded as animate entities.

The project's primary goal is to utilize large text datasets and investigate how the lemma ‘machine’ has been represented, understood, and transformed over time. The work creates a three-dimensional semantic landscape that becomes a metal sculpture through advanced 3D printing techniques. The project addresses the question: How do we linguistically position machines in relation to ourselves, nature, and animacy? How centuries of language reveal our shifting perception of machines, from mechanical objects to quasi-living agents.

MiCROBIAL CITYSCAPE
 Installation

Microbial Cityscape is designed to reveal and render the microbial biodiversity within the water and soil ecosystems. The sediment incubated in controlled conditions using the Winogradsky column method, a layered mud, water, and organic compounds that reveals microbial growth as shifting color bands over time. The project highlights biodiversity, interspecies coexistence, and the hidden dynamics of living systems. Through experimental display methods, the work will reveal the often-unseen microbial activity that plays a fundamental role in ecological balance, offering a fresh perspective on the interconnectedness of life at multiple scales.
