The series is compiled from seven thousand portrait photographs taken from a single point at a busy avenue in Berlin's Hermannplatz district. Hermannplatz is one of the world's most cosmopolitan corners and identified as one of Berlin’s problemkieze (problem neighborhood). This multicultural and former working-class district is a vibrant meeting point for diverse characters from all over the world.
